I had a few spare hours today and thought to myself this is as good any other time to take a ride. I seldom think of ride reports because I ride nearly every day. But I did stop to take a photo today so I thought I'd share.
I started out heading to a local lake that has some really nice sweepers with a motorcycle friendly

speed limit of 45 mph ( the cages usually travel at much slower speeds). For the last few years the lake has been drained to remove sediment build up so few people use the roads that are not motorcyclists or bicyclists. This normally makes for a nice ride. Today this was not the case. First there were several cages that I quickly caught up to so when I came to a turn around I did. Only to get behind Harley riders. I suppose I should have expected them to open up wide on the straightaways and slow to a crawl on the turns. Needless to say I easily caught up in the turns were I could not pass and I am to0 sane to ride around squirrelly wide open Harleys on the straightaway. I just went home. There will be other fine days to ride this winter.
Before I went home I drove to the top of the boat ramp were I used to launch my boat and snapped a picture. Merry Christmas!
