Looks serviceable enough, but two questions come to mind.

Where are these mounting straps going, and doesn't having only two allow this thing to rock around?

What's on the bottom?  The slightest rubbing from most materials will soon wear dull spots in, eventually through, the paint.

well the strap is just a one long strap and i have the lower strap mounted to the bolt that holds on the gas tank just below the front of the seat and the top one i have slip under the gas flap under the hinge just enuf to hold it tight and the riding postion i have on mine keeps me in such a position where yes it probly would wobble a bit but my knees hold it steady with not much effort. and the bottom i am gonna get a microfiber cloth on the bottom to help with any wear. do you think that microfiber would work or would there be something better that may help with that?

yeah just had some spare seat covering laying around that wasw too small for any other seat i have and had some nylon straps laying around and a couple pieces of velcro seems to work just fine and big enuf to carry some smaller items like a lunch to take into the park or an extra set of gloves and other random items. i usually pack light for day trips. :P

Provided it's clean and stays put, that sounds pretty good.  The one I've always heard is to use that no-slip rubbery pad that goes under rugs, which should prevent rubbing altogether.  I've got yards of that stuff, if anyone wants it.
