Rode today - it rained! Found this low mileage bike - 3400 miles! It is smooth, and my girlfriend is comfortable on the back with the backrest and nice seat!

Welcome to the group, ride safe. Nice looking NH you found.
If I may offer a couple of maintenance suggestions you might consider (even though your mileage is very low):
1. TIRES - check the date stamp on them, if they are more than 4 years old, or if they have dry rot cracking at ANY age, pitch 'em. This is a safety thing and it can cause you to fall - DAMHIK
2. Bleed and flush your front brake with some fresh DOT 4 brake fluid. WARNING - cover your gas tank and other painted surfaces EXTENSIVELY before starting. Brake fluid EATS paint.
3. Clean and check the adjustment of your chain.
Have fun - hope you enjoy your bike.

The last year of the Nighthawk 750. Nice find. That backrest is a coveted accessory among many NH owners.

Welcome, I am from Williamsport. The best tires I found for the Nighthawk are Michellins PR3. The last about 11,000 for the rear, and 16,000 for the front.
There awesome roads Near Williamsport with 180 turns. Just be carefull.

Thanks for the welcomes and the advice. Yes, I know it needs new tires - it does have the originals with a 35/02 date. In the rain yesterday going over the mountains the tires were a little bit scary! Chain is clean and adjusted; I will do the brake fluid this spring. The forum is great!
