I've got a 1984 Nighthawk 700s that I have just brought back to running condition after a motor swap. Just finishing up some body work now. The right side cover is pretty rough and has all three posts broken clean off at the surface. I bought some round ABS rod to turn new posts out of on the lathe, but if someone would be kind enough to post the length of the posts on the right side cover from flush with the inside surface to tip of the ball that would help me significantly and insure that I only have to do this once.

Thanks for the help!

Looks like I have officially become the person who cant use the search function  shog.

Right top looks like 15mm to the flat below the ball, measure from center of base.
Rear is 1 7/8" to the top of the ball.
But I couldn't find the length of the right front one.

I used 1-7/8 for that one too, and it seems fine. I haven't seen a more precise measurement for it.
