Well, it's not the most common bike by far, and this isn't the most hopping time of year.
but just to give you something to chew on:

Let's get my first bike to pass inspection (1986 CB450SC)
Few Pics of our 450 project

ZThat was a bit from searching the project logs.  The rest are probably in My Honda Nighthawk.

Lot of 450 threads. But yeah, it's 10 degrees everywhere in the US today. Not much forum action

I have a 82 cb450 custom that im working on right now. Its basically the same as the 82 nighthawk with different tank and body panels. Just got it running this fall after being off the road for 15-20 years.

I still think fuzzy has one of the nicest 450s on the forum. She really detailed the heck out of that thing when she got it.  thumb

Oh yes, that's another great one. Plus, it's a prime example of how to "make something your own" without ruining the machine.  claps

Too bad those Qualifier tires were dried up when I bought it.  I liked the white lettering.

I can't say the bike looks as impressive and sparkly in real life as it does in that pic.  Although, I had just cleaned it up when I took the photos.  Basically I was blessed with great, almost perfect, light at the time of the snap.

It was the kind of lighting guys in studios spend hours trying to reproduce for PR shots.  Soft but bright and coming from behind the lens.

I thought they still made those tires. No?

I don't believe so. But, some of the Bridgstone Spitfire S11's have raised white letters.

I've only seen two 450's that I really wanted - Fuzzynormal's beautiful stocker and bittenbythehawk's equally good looking custom.  drooler

You guys really have some cool bikes.

No offense, but that's pretty optimistic for a bike that you claim to have done the dirty deed to. Bobbers aren't what you'd call popular on here if you hadn't noticed.

Why would I want a bike that you took the speedometer off of, a non-functional headlight, put pods on, modified the stock exhaust, and removed the centerstand?

no speedo is just my style of a bike. gettin back to the bear roots of riding. look at all the choppers and bobbers of the 60's and 70's. over half of them didnt have speedos.

You mean old bikes with illegal mods?

I've never paid extra for less content on a car. Why would I on a motorcycle?
