Welcome aboard wave  There seems to have been quite a few of the Canadian 750's popping up in the last year.  Let's see some pictures aparat

 welcome

When does Spring start up there ?

Winter is a good time to inspect your safety gear and take advantage of the good sales on products.
Also, watch U-Tube videos on repair techniques..... not all are worth it.

Ride safely,

Spring starts in April for us....sometimes late March. They salt and sand roads up here, so you really have to wait until the street sweepers clean up the leftover mess.

Thinking of wet sanding the clutch cover as my winter project, it's starting to look rough up close.

Welcome to the group, ride safe.  Fellow member Gammer is a Canuck, although I'm not sure from exactly where.  He too rides a 750s and has an unbelievable technical knowledge of that bike.  He's rebuilt several "s" bikes, and has documented his experiences well on this website.  If he's reasonably close to you, he'd be a great resource for you.  Unfortunately, it seems Gammer hibernates from the forum for the winter.  You'll hear more from him in the Spring.

We southerners enjoy a 365 day riding season.   rayof  They say it's gonna get close to 70 tomorrow.   wings  Not trying to flame you, in August when it's 98 and 60% humidity down here, you get yours.

Hope you enjoy your nighthawk.

I was still riding up to a week ago, we had some amazing spring like weather in Southwestern Ontario but snow is here now and the evil salt trucks have put a halt to riding untill the spring rains wash it all away. But on the bright side should only be about 5-6 weeks of real winter at this point.

I am just south of you in Kingston. There are several of us in the area that go riding together during the summer. Hopefully you can join us?

I was in Ottawa a few years ago doing a little site seeing in Aug.  At noon we stopped at a cafe for lunch but couldn't sit outside because it was too cold.
We have a camp on the St Lawrence river that overlooks Brockville.  I'm looking forward to crossing the river by ferry out of Cap Vincent, onto Wolf Island, across to Kingston and back over the Thousand Islands Bridge.  We have done it by car and it is a beautiful day trip.

I've done this in reverse. Take the bike from Kingston to Wolfe Island, cross the island and take the ferry to Cape Vincent, NY. Have lunch, the ride along the river to the 1000 Islands bridge. Cross back into Canada and take the parkway back. Its a fun ride.

I was born in Massena NY (down river) and have been going back to the river ever since.  My brothers and I bought a property with three small camps in Morristown about 8 years ago. We rent them out and use them when we can.  I love that area!

Hey there!  On behalf of the few Bluenosers on this site...welcome!

Nice looking bike!  Only thing nicer than red on black is blue on black, but I'm a little biased.   shog

Drove through Ottawa many years ago on my way to Yellowknife.  Currently, have a buddy in Kanata in the OPP (motorcycle division).  biker_h4h1
