Thanks.

This is the V45 Sabre (1982) we restored and sold a year or so ago..

Our son always loved that bike so we looked for something similar as his first bike and ended up with the Nighthawk.

Cool.

The Intruder 800 (now in the Boulevard line) was my first bike. I think it may have been a bit much, but they're still making the same bike, both 800 and 1400, so there must be something to it, eh?
And I like the Concours too. Mine is a '05 that I repainted. Here's mine:

Hi Jenn! We met at the COG National in Vt. this summer. My husband is Blaise. I remember you telling me you used to have the Intruder. I sat on your bike because I wanted to see if i could tippy toe it- I couldn't!

That virago looks to be a great bike for a short person with the low seat height.

Is that the factory luggage on the '06 connie?

It's not "short" pants...it's inseam challenged...lol.  Been thinking of lowering Helen Black with shorter shocks in the back and pulling the forks up an inch...but just know I'd be scraping pegs...so I'll continue to "tiptoe". biker_h4h1

yes, that's factory saddle bags on the Connie. The trunk is a Givi.

I loved the Virago but at 5'7" I was a touch cramped on it. But it was the easiest bike to ride. I sold it to a mature femail rider that was about 5'2" and she loves it.

my grandfather has a little 535 virago and i love it. it fits me just right and i too am 5'7" altho i dont like to be stretched out too much which may be a factor for me :P but those are awsome little bikes.

Nice looking stable you have!  beer

I almost bought a Virago 535 as my first bike, but it was sold out from underneath me.  I like the way it looks and feels.  Ended up with an 650 NH instead.  I have to say, either one is good for "newer" riders.
