Hello all, Just joined the site recently and just took more pics of the bike. Now it's still in progress so be gentle!! LoL Changing it up to make it more cruiser'ish, I have other bikes, but thought this one would be fun for cruising. Getting it all set for our ride this coming July... Here's a few pics... Pretty much stock other than I lowered it a bit.. New headlight, bars, and turn signals.. (stock Suzuki intruder signals) Another angle.. Here's a rear view, license plate assembly removed, got a plate bracket of a new sportster to put on it. Haven't gotten that together cause I have to run and get the new rear tire balanced.. Took the reflectors out of the tail and replaced them with a wedge type turn signal.. Of course the tach didn't work so I just replaced it with a Summit brand one.. Hey screw it, $40 fix.. Gonna paint the bezels on both gauges so it's less noticable.. I also did new brakes, clutch, and various other odds and ends.. Once all the fit-up stuff is complete i'm going to repaint the bike so it's all nice and fresh.. Paint color is a GM color, black with mild blue pearl in it.. Shops pretty packed with bikes in the off season!!! Everyone wants to be prepared when the weather is right!!! Hows my progress thus far? Any and all suggestions are welcome, first Nighthawk i've owned...

Thank ya for the welcome!!!
Next I have to come up with an idea for mounting up the warning lights.. Kick stand, neutral, highbeam, and overheat... Have some ideas, but like I said, suggestions are welcome!

Welcome to the forum. Like the look of the rear blinkers. Where did you find them? Also could you show a few pics of the bike beside the XS. Thanks

is that made from various bike parts? cause those wheels look like something off of an older dirt bike, and that front wheel looks to be the rear tire off a dirt bike maybe like an old XR250 or something.

We have some winners!!! That one is actually a 1969 Aermacchi Sprint, 350 SS... Trying to make it look like an old Flat Tracker.

+1. I used to own a 73 Sprint 350. It was my first bike and was a fun little thumper.

Recent update!
Well got the Nighthawk all back together, and took it for a 2 hour or so ride Wednsday... New brakes worked great, the new Barnett clutch is awsome, shimming the needles in the carbs seemed to help out alot, I think 1 more washer on each should do the trick (still has a flat spot around 5000rpms or so)...
But all in all the changes worked out well!
The Pilot Road 2 tires are great, bike rums in and out of the turns pretty damn good, already scraped the hell out of the pegs... LoL
New headlight is bright as hell!!!!
Now to blow it back apart for paint!!!!
