Picked up this 1982 Nighthawk 750 a couple of weeks ago. Pretty nice shape for the year and really nice for what I have invested. Came with new tires Fresh brakes, chain, sprockets etc. As well as a box of spare new parts. Going to go over the bike. New brake hoses, fresh paint, LED's an some other slight mods. Also noticed the front left caliper is not centered or even close. Will need to investigate that one. Anyway will post some photos along the way.

What'd you trade for it?
I'm a big fan of the barter system. I got my bike in trade for a rifle I didn't have much use for. Getting a lot more use out of the bike.

It always amazes me how similar the 750s and 450s of that day look. It looks like exactly the same bike, just with a bigger engine.

The paint and chrome look much better in the photo than in person, but for teh year pretty nice.

Polish and elbow grease go a long long way on bikes. I've rolled $200 bikes out of barns and then sold them for $2000 after a deep cleaning/detail/wax, some tires, and a carb cleaning.

Very cool. Is that an aftermarket 4 into 1 exhaust?

Yes 4 to 1. Also has pods. Still not sure of what I am going to do to it. I actually set out for a bike not quite so nice. But could not pass on it. All other offers were turds in comparison except for the CX500 that was offered and equally nice.

Those chrome accents on the body work always looked awesome IMO. I think the old Hondas were the only ones who ever pulled that off. Congrats on the acquisition!
