I carry whatever will fit in the box. Yesterday I rode to the P.O. with a 30X20x8 package to mail.


I travel back roads out here in the high desert and usually am alone. I carry a gas can, oil, tubes, chain, jack, tow strap, minor spare parts, tools, pistol grip 12ga, small tent, sleeping bag, a bit of food and water. Like a good scout, I try to be prepared   ricky

DonD, that is a cool rig! I am not into hacks, but you definitely have it all
figured out. When riding alone out here west there is just not cell phone
service in some of the more remote areas. I ride in an area 1 hour north of
Las Vegas, it is 12 miles from the main road. No service close to the
mountain, however, I can see Hwy. 93 from up there, but it is a long
walk if one is stranded.
