I got this bike few months ago from California ($1400).  It's 96 with 35k miles.  Previous owner upgraded progressive shock, new spocket, chain and tires (I don't think the seat is original?) .  I only did muffler mod, carb jetting and added windshield and....cup holder.  There are still some minor problem but anyway, here are the pictures.....

 welcome
How'd you learn to ride?  Saddle is definitely customized: hopefully it is comfortable, because it's not the prettiest.  Overall looks great and you got lucky despite doing no research.

Hey nice bike. Really like the black on the engine, looks clean. Ya that seat is rather interesting looking. Good Buy and happy riding. How do you like that exhaust mod, happy with it?

Now there's something I've never seen before, a Nighthawk with a built in Helo Pad.     thumb

It only counts if he actually landed it there.  deal Sometimes I'm so tempted to get one of those. They look like fun.

Both are yellow so he's color coordinated. Good choice and double points if his helmet and gear are yellow also.  thumb

Only question is how do you drink pop with a full face helmet on without making a mess? Flip up?

I don't drink while I am riding.  I just use my cup holder on the way to get my favorite Starbucks. I still don't have license yet and not comfortable of riding over 60mph or in traffic.  Here are my quick questions:  How easy to replace rear brake?  How do you lift the bike of the ground? (I don't have center stand).

hello and welcome to nighthawk forums acei, have you signed up for the msf course? the rear tire has to come off to change the brake shoes but it's not a hard job to do

Jc Whitney has a lift for bikes that works well...used one before I got a bike with a centerstand.....heres the link:

Welcome!  Sharp looking ride.

To lift both my front and rear end I got this set of stands:

I think the adapter for the triple tree stand was 24mm.

Nice looking ride, really sharp in yellow.

Make sure you take the toys off the seat before you ride, could get uncomfortable.   ImaPoser
