OK, so, like most of America, I pretty much only speak English (American English)! I should learn something!

Perhaps they're a bit shy, or don't know there is a Nighthawk-forum.

Well, it's about quality, not quantity.

Yep, every year. Rossi rules! Me and my friends always go all weekend. I know some guys who even go see the training runs. MotoGP is my favorite kind of motorsport followed by Superbike and DTM-racing.

Assen always produces excellent racing for some reason.  Even in its shortened version its layout is brilliant, and forces the competitors to be at their best.  I'd love to spend the whole race week there.  I follow world superbike, but what is DTM-racing?

That's touringcar racing. (I love anything that smells like motoroil and burned rubber)

Fridaynight in Assen is crazy. Parties, concerts, DJ's, streetracing, lots of booze, food, bikes and women.
It's the party event in the region. Every last weekend in June.

The circuit gets better and better.

Awe man, you had to go and describe the scene there.  Thats exactly what I've heard about race week.  Its a MUST DO for me, someday!  I can tell from my race DVDs that the Dutch really like to wick it up for motorbike racing.  I need to live there.

Are there a lot of english speakers at the race?

No, unfortunately I've never been there.  I've read a few books (some motorcycle related) about the area, and had an old workout partner that got married in Amsterdam, but never set foot there myself.  I've been a bit worried about not being able to communicate well.  Whats the currency?  Euro?
