Here it is; a 1998 Honda Valkyrie.  6x6 Cobra pipes and WAY too much chrome.  It hauls butt (both of 'em) and sounds like an older hot rod when you get into it.  I bought it for 2-up riding, but since that's not going to happen anymore...now it just sits.  I keep it running, but don't drive it much.  I tried to sell it, but for some reason the paint seems to put people off.  Oh well, no accounting for taste  scratcher

I've considered chopping it or something like that, but haven't been motivated enough to do anything yet.  But, I run a car tire in the rear, and put a bike rear on the front (reverse rotation) and the tires last a LONG time even on this heavy beast.

That is so ugly that it has character.
Try advertising somewhere near deals gap. Someone that rides through there is bound to pounce on it before you get your finger off the <enter> button.

I would buy it simply because it would be awesome for tailgates and such at my alma mater, East Carolina University.

Why can't you ride two up?

Personally I like the colors.  Tho I've often thought of taking the seat covers off.  She suffered a back injury a year or so ago.  She might be able to ride a 'Wing or something like that, but there's not enough support on the Valk.

I like the velocity stacks...but too showy for my taste. I bet it sounds great though!

yeah, I have to say, I did enjoy hammering the throttle on it.  It roars!  Sounds great just idling.  If I can't sell it, I'll probably tinker with it for a while and see if inspiration strikes.  Then again, maybe I'll trade it for something....

Hold onto that bike.  I may just grab it from you.  It matches my school colors to a T and it would be fun to ride down there for football games and alumni tailgates.

I may have already stated that, though.  Sorry for any double posts.

Come and get it if you like.  It's sitting in the garage collecting dust for the most part.  I keep the tank filled with gas and Seafoam and run it once ever couple weeks.

Just leave the key in it.  I'll swing by and take her for a spin.

"for some reason" he says! you're a funny guy!
seriously though, a guy from my work has a wide glide with a paintjob scarily similar, it's also got a checkered flag motif only its blue and harley orange with checkered flag.

I like that 6 into 6, it looks really good.  Maybe just get it painted one color, I bet it would sell better.

Just a matter of taste I guess.  I like the paint myself purple and yellow are two of our favorite colors and I don't mind the checker pattern.  I think the seats were a bit much myself, but they're just covers that I never bothered to take off.
