thats a good lookin 350 but it looks more like the '69 i had than the '71 i have now, were the gas tank and side covers changed. love for old cb 350's is what made me get the 450 nighthawk in the first place i have only had eight cb 350's so far

It's got the 71 date stamped on the frame...And my pop bought it new off the lot...
But I know what you're saying...I've seen similar 69-70 tanks but with rubberized knee pads on 'em. This has got the "seam-ed" coffin tank, but no kneepads. And the front fnder has the later-style chrome support bars.
I wouldn't be suprised if it was an early 71 model "Let's raid the parts bin to get rid of the old stuff" hybrid.
That's why I dig these old bikes, there's always some fun research to go along with it, ha!

my '69 didn't have the knee pads on the tank. i got the NH because of the electronic ignition and 6spd trans

Well thanks...One I buy a house with a decen tgarage, she's gonna be my winter project. I could never get her to idle right....trouble syncing the carbs...Same deal with my '73. Ahh...the magic of parrallel twins...
