I recently bought a new jacket (about a month ago), and a new helmet (today). They are my first new and nice stuff. Jacket is from Exelement and the helmet is a Scorpion EXO 400 Sonic (discontinued graphic, read very good price, $90). Just thought I would post a pic. I really like the jacket, comfortable in a wide range of temps so far.

Dang, Scorpion helmets are good values at list price, $90 is great! Jacket looks good too, appears to fit well.

Nice looking outfit!  Like the color match, what color is your bike?

I just recently added an Excel brand mesh jacket to my gear.  I wanted something with armor but that wasn't to warm to wear in the summer.  It has a removal liner (zips & snaps) for cool weather.  The liner isn't the easiest in/out so I've replaced it with a separate one (not attached) that I can wear in the mornings and not use in the afternoons.  I used just the mesh the other day when it was in the 80's, a little warm at standstill, but really allows the air thru when moving.  Hope I never need the armor (same goes for my helmet) but feel safer with them both.

You'll love the scorpion exo400, great comfortable, and quiet helmet for the money. I have one in plain silver...love it!

It's the one in my avatar. The colors match pretty well.

Let me know how you like the xelement jacket. I desperately need a warm weather jacket as my current one is way too hot for florida summers. It is a black leather sport jacket from power trip, and while it is a great, non cruiser looking, leather jacket. It boils me insides on a hot sunny day.
