Bumblebee?
« on: October 28, 2015, 01:51:58 PM »
I don't believe I've seen Bumblebee around here in a while. Am I wrong? Anyone know where he went?

Bumblebee has disappeared before.  He lives a nomadic life.

I imagine he's out motorcycling in the middle of nowhere, having a blast.

Anyone know where he went?

Nope. No clue at all.

The short version:
Very limited internet - as in, none for a couple years. There are several other things going on. I'm getting setup for a long duration around the world trip - long duration meaning just might not come back, ever. I'm not kidding in the least. Adventures galore.

I'm not riding at all lately. I gave the CB650 to a friend a while back. I had no idea how much motorcycle information I had until I organized it all in one place: Lots of mechanical related photographs, maintenance procedures, training/proficiency skill sets, motorcycle operations and dynamics, theory and practical application and on and on and on. Anything you need to know and a lot of stuff you didn't know you needed to know kind of thing...
When I was doing all that I remembered this webboard and thought I'd pop in and see if it's still here when I get internet access next. Curiously some of you are still here. I'll try to pop in occasionally if I can to see what's going on at least over the next few months - afterward we'll see how that goes...

Great to hear from you again, Bee.

Ever since moving on to a V-Strom, I've been listening to the Adventure Rider Radio podcast, and your attitude is reflected in a lot of the long-term 'travelers' out there...and who knew there were so many?

How do you intend to go -- 4 wheels, 2 wheels or by foot?
