The K model is the "standard" model; the K0 was the original 1969 model.  The F designation was for the Super Sport models, usually with 4-1 exhaust and a couple other minor mods.

Yes, the letters and numbers following are model / year designations.  The CB750 started with K0, next year was K1, etc.  The parts guys could tell what year the bike is, and which parts catalog to use, by the letter/number combination.   I sold Honda and Suzuki parts in a large bike shop in the early 70s.   FYI, Suzuki used a new letter for each year of production, such as TS-185J, TS-185K, TS-185L, etc.

yeah, they mean nothing other than model designations.  It's just like Jeep: CJ (willy's and beyond wranglers, until the YJ), YJ (Roughly 88-95 wrangler), TJ (96 and up Wrangler until the newest model, the JK), XJ (all Cherokees), ZJ (1992-1998 Grand Cherokee), WJ (99-2004 Grand Cherokee), WK (2005 and up Grand Cherokee), KJ (Liberty), etc... they're just designations that usually only avid fans of the models/brand even know.

Beerfest.  Trust me, when that line came to be, everyone on my jeep forum (Mallcrawlin.com, it's for ZJ Grand Cherokees only) cited it daily for about 2 months.  It got REALLY old.

As stated before F = Supersport, K = Standard, C = Custom (more sporty than the K), SC = Sport Cruiser (I think), A = Automatic don't think any 750's were made in an A model though.. someone correct me if I'm wrong

The 750 was indeed made in an A model...78 and 79 I think.  It was a 2 speed semi-auto really, the same one they used in the Civic at the time wit a hi and lo setting.  I had the Civic with that in it years later (94 or therebouts).  Like driving a CV trans almost.

Ok, thanks Wahrsuul. I was thinking they did make it in an A, similar to the 60's-era trail bikes, but didn't want to mis-inform anyone.. better to ask then pretend to know the answer.

Ahh... yes the "Hondamatic" I had a 77 Accord hatchback with a hondamatic that I drove while in university.  It was already a 20year old car when I got it for $200.  It was a semi-automatic - you still had to move the lever to shift - just no clutch. That is until it lost first gear -then it was like a go kart -second gear only - gas=go brake=stop.
