Hey. I'd like to introduce myself to the forum. Im very excited to say that I have just recently purchased my first bike, although last year my dad handed me down his 76 cb550. But, I found a great deal on a 2000 nighthawk 750 that I knew was a sign from God. It has a few dings here and there but for $800 it was still a steal. I plan on being a dedicated reader of this forum and other Nighthawk resources in order to learn as much as I can and maybe hook up with some local riders. Cheers.
Mark

Thanks for the comments and yes it runs so sweet. It's such a smooth bike that it's a dream to ride. As for the saddle bags i have no idea who makes them, they came with the bike but i'll take a better look to see if i can find out. The guy that sold it to me first went to a Honda dealer to trade it in, they only offered him $800 so he figured that he would rather sell it on craigslist. It's not perfect but close enough for me.
