Well I got some video of some of the roads in the area. This is the famous Tail of the Dragon. I ended up riding this twice in the 3 days of riding the area. The surrounding roads are really nice, the dragon is just really tight. Fun in it's own right. Sorry it's not the entire thing. Ran out of memory and battery at the same time. Right in the middle. I have some other videos uploading to YouTube now. I'll post the links when they are finished loading. http://www.youtube.com/v/kER2Tr4ki5Y&hl=en&fs=1

From camp (Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campground) to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just up the hill. Only place I had cell reception so the ride to make a phone call sucked! This one starts off a little slow but the road gets better and better as you go.

Just to make this clear. All these videos are on strange roads to me. When I slow down way too much before a turn it's because it looked sharper than it was or there might be a hint of gravel in the corner. Some corners have a lot of gravel and you just don't know until your mid turn what ones they are. A couple rocks on the road as you enter a turn is a good indicator. Sometimes you just have to pick the line with as few rocks as possible and hope for the best.

I can't even say for sure what road this is. All I know is GPS was showing a bunch of back and forth so I thought I would turn on the camera. Every time I though that should be enough the GPS was showing another set of tight turns.

To see the above videos full screen you can go see them on the YouTube site. I'm not sure how to embed and make it available for full screen. In above order. OK so if I enter the link with the hyperlink it still just shows it as embedded. So first go to www.youtube.comafter .com add the fallowing: /watch?v=kER2Tr4ki5Y /watch?v=ygWH7HXog4g /watch?v=4hpNTT4iQsk

Those roads look awesome! Someday maybe I'll get out there to . Everyone should ride these roads at some time. You will learn so much about your bike in a very short period of time. Even if you have to trailer your bike out there, do it. I'm already thinking about the next trip out there. If you do trailer it out put on a sticky back tire. Your going to destroy any tire you have on the back anyway so might as well be something stupid sticky. The kind of tire that only last a couple thousand miles .

I know it's been close to a year since you posted these but this is my first time viewing. Very cool stuff. In the last video somewhere around the three minute mark you come up to a sharp right turn and it looks like if you go over the road you will fly down a bluff or cliff. Gotta stay sharp on those roads. Beautiful scenery and cool twists. Thanks for posting.

I live pretty close to these roads. So much fun. I love driving them with my car. Can't wait to try them on my bike.
