Not sure if I posted about this here (too lazy to search) but I found a cool and inexpensive product to increase our visibility on the road - especially at night.  They are 'over-gloves' called GloGlovs - they are fingerless nylon/spandex, one-size-fits-all gloves that go over your regular motorcycle gloves.  They have hi-viz, highly-reflective strips on the back of the fingers that are very visible when your hands are on the grips.  They were only about $16, so I thought I'd give them a try.  I posted a quick video review here:

I also picked up a helmet band that wraps around the bottom of the helmet for increased nighttime visibility - I know there is a plain one called the "Helmet Halo", but this one is checkered, and I think looks good on my white helmet (and would certainly look good on a silver or black helmet, as well).

I've also posted a thorough write up on the LED lights I installed on my NH...read it here ==> http://www.brianscrazytalk.com/2009/07/motorcycle-led-lights-review/.

*disclaimer: I am not affiliated with these vendors in any way.  These reviews are my own, independent assessment of products I've purchased and found to be useful (or maybe not so useful).  Hopefully you find the information helpful!

Wow, you're even more into conspicuity than I am!

The overgloves seem perfect for all the hand signaling involved with group riding.  I have a pair of chamois colored summer gloves that are obviously more visible than black.  As Lee Parks himself said, it helps other riders see you waving at them.

I'll take any advantage I can get...but I don't think I'm going too far with it.  After all, I could have ponied up for this:

Now that will get some attention!  Hap1

Wasn't there someone here that painted their entire NH in paint that had reflective particles in it?  That's *really* hard core.

Ok, now that's cool!  Where can I get one?  I have bright yellow jackets (mesh and winter).  That'd be even better.  Of course it won't match the "fast yellow" of the bike, so that's a down side... musicboohoo

They also make some reflective tape that you can put just about anywhere. Top boxes aren't pretty anyway and not really part of the bike so I stuck these ugly stickers all over it. They really stand out at night and in fog.
