Doesn't much matter, it probably won't reach the US anyway.

The DN-01 is a neat bike, but the price tag will kill it here in the states. Not many people willing to shell out that much for an 800cc bike. I like the looks of the EVO-6 too, but I don't expect that to become a reality.

Honda won't bring over the 1100f, or something like the evo-6 to North America . We only like big flashy cruisers and crotch rockets, no-one over here likes the reliability and comfort of a standard, thats for Europeans.

the DN-01 is a freaking scooter, that's it!
Is it possible to purchase a bike from overseas and have it shipped to the U.S., as a whole? I know you can do it with cars, so...

bike or car it will have to meet dot and epa standards. on a bike it could be something as simple as reflectors and turn signals, cars are not as easy now days

Thanks Detdr.
I am officially in love with this bike. Honda MUST bring it over, or I will find another company that has a clone.

I came SUPER close to buying one, but I didn't like the long reach to the bars. It would have put too much stress on my low back on longer hauls. Its a bad little scooter though!

It's basically a naked CBR, and I too disliked the riding position.

We Americans wont get to touch many of the new standard offerings from the big four Jap makers because Americans seem to think they have to ride cruisers. If standards ever start selling well here, then we'll see some fresh product. The Europeans love the standards and cafe bikes, thats why they get the new cool stuff. We get warmed over copy cat crap. OK, I'm done
