PAINTED AND BACK TOGETHER
« on: November 20, 2016, 04:35:52 PM »
Sharing a couple of pictures of my 1984 Nighthawk S painted and put back together.  She looks so good and runs great. Best $100 bike I ever bought

It appears to be a protector plate that would protect the cover if the bike were dropped or laid down.  Thought about taking them off.....but haven't.

Nice to see a bike restored to proper condition, rather than hacked up into this stupid bobber, cafe racer fetish people seem to have.

Good looking bike.

The rear cowl, rear handlebar piece, side covers, front fairing, front fender, brackets, touch up the frame.  Then I polished the wind deflector and lenses

With new 85 decals ?  Looks sharp. Why not the 84's if it's an 84 bike ?  Looks damn nice tho, Mine is blue OEM 85, I bought a body set off an 84 and had it repainted 85 RED and Decals.  Summer clothes.

does the fairing keep some of the wind off your chest?
