Looking for each of these.  I won't be riding in weather colder than 50 degrees, no way, no how.

Can you reccomend some gloves and boots for me?

I wear a pair of First Gear Mesh-Tex 2.0 gloves that match my riding jacket.

They're comfortable, breathe really well (they have little vents on each finger that look like they're supposed to direct air at the finger), and the knuckle guard is carbon fiber. My only complaint is that they run small. All of the winter gloves, rubber gloves, etc. that I wear are size XL, so I got the gloves in an XL and they're a tight fit - if my hands are sweaty or moist they're hard to get on. I'd recommend one size bigger than normal if you get these.

CF knuckles are good.  thumb

I punched the ground hard with the knuckles on both hands when I fell off. The CF got scratched a bit however the energy load was distributed enough that it didn't hurt.

I've got these Honda Spirit Mesh Glove
They work well in hot weather as long as I am moving. When it gets cooler I add liners. I admit to wearing leather palm dirt bike gloves if I know I will be rolling in slow traffic when it is really hot.
These are the only boots I was able to get my husband to wear.
Sidi Slash Riding Shoes
Ridiculous price but it it was that or he kept wearing running shoes. He says the air flow is really good and they are comfortable.
I have an old pair of men's Honda textile and leather boots. It isn't that I care about Honda brand stuff, I bought them before I even had a Honda. It is just that someone has to wear the cheap clearance stuff so that we can afford his Sidi boots.   Hap1

I really love my Lee Parks DeerSports, but they now have outseam gloves that have all the stitching mess on the outside (sadly only available in the shorter DeerTours).  If you can get something in kangaroo skin, that's awesome too.

Boots, I'd recommend totally skipping any waterproof crap, as they are always too hot!  I'd like to recommend Bates Fastlanes, which are very nice and an exceptional value, but they totally screwed up my custom order and wouldn't cop to it.  Haven't found owned a great pair yet.  Vendramini and Prexport use real leather, most use chintzy Lorica synthetic.  Sidi is pretty good too.

Really fit is most important, so give vast prefernce to items you can try on and seem comfortable.

I got to go by the Honda shop this week for some parts.  I guess I'll try on what they have paying attention to what's comfortable.  Then we can re-group later.  I'm sure I can find anything on the Internet cheaper, but I think happy_commuter is on to something - I better try it on first.

cheers.

I have a pair of Prospeed vented gauntlet gloves as my summer gloves, they are nice but they don't tighten up properly. I'd recommend gauntlet style gloves as they give more protection of the wrist than the other styles.

These are my riding boots. They offer good protection and they are comfortable enough for when you stop and walk around.

My Gloves...
Ignition 'Race' gloves. They aren't top of the line gloves, but adequate. I picked them up at Canadian Tire (which BTW, offers a pretty good selection of 'middle of the row' riding equipment).
