The helmet I have is cheap and probably not safe and I would like to upgrade to something of higher quality. I'm looking for a flat black helmet in the $75-$175 range. I kind of want a modular but I probably wont be able to afford a nice one.
So basically what I'm asking for are some good websites to shop for helmets, and if you guys feel like it post some helmets you find.
Thanks!

I second HJC. I bought a SyMax off from eBay new in the box for $150. I've been very happy with it. HJC has reasonably priced helmets.

The HJC might be a better helmet just by looking at the features.
Try them on & see which one you like.

I have an HJC CL-SP, and absolutely love it. Although if you turn your head right or left to a specific point the vents on top make a loud whistling sound, but it goes away when the helmet is facing straight forward. But other than that minor issue I've never had a problem with it in the last two years

I have the Scorpion EXO-700 in flat black. Here's a review on it http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motorcycle-helmet/scorpion/ I don't hear the wind noise they are talking about or the fogging lense. I don't have anything to compare it to except an 8 year old Shoi but I prefer the EXO-700 over the Shoi.
