My 1993 Nighthawk 750
« on: March 05, 2017, 08:54:15 AM »
I bought my first motorcycle in 1996.  It was a blue 1993 Nighthawk 750.  Since then there has been a good deal of work done such as custom paint on the tank, front fender, and side panels, as well as additions like the Memphis Shades shield, Corbin seat, and Hondaline backrest.

Phenomenal condition!  That seat looks super comfortable - might I ask where you bought it from?

Thank you.  The seat is a Corbin, to my knowledge still available directly from them.  I bought it at Americade in 1998, and has served me well since including two failed Saddle Sore 1000 attempts (first one the Harley I was riding with broke down) (The second a cold front came through the mountains and the temp dropped into the 30's and I had not packed cold weather gear) but they were both 800+ mile days.

As near as I can tell 15/38 was stock in the US market.  It is the same size sprocket that was on the bike when I purchased it though it was replaced once when some idiots at the dealer bent the black metal guard that is riveted to the sprocket on a tire replacement and thought I wouldn't notice when I picked it up.
