2003 Shadow Sabre 1100
« on: March 05, 2017, 09:10:32 AM »
About 10 years ago I got a smoking deal on a 2003 Honda Shadow Sabre 1100.  I have always been horrible about passing up a deal so I bought the bike even though I wasn't riding much at the time.  So I loaned it to my dad when my folks bought their place in Florida so he wouldn't have to take his Harley (yeah I know) down with them every winter.  Fast forward a few years and he bought a new Harley (yeah I know)  and took the old one to Florida and brought my Shadow back home.  About that time I had started riding again and decided to keep both the Shadow and the Nighthawk.

The two of them together:

Sabre is a good cruiser.  IIRC it has hydraulic lifters so no valve adjustments.

That is correct the Sabre does not need valve adjustments.
