What are those ODOMETERS up to?
« on: April 05, 2017, 10:08:02 PM »
Glanced down tonight and saw my '92 CB750 NH's currently sitting at: 50,186 miles. While I'm probably the third or so owner at this point...

It got me wondering...

What are those ODOMETERS up to?

Nice! And uh, I finally got back in the habit of resetting my tripometer when I fill up, after I took this pic. ;)

I had to buy a speedometer for my nighthawk when I bought it so the odometer isn't correct to the bike. the wing has 99,820 miles on it and the mighty ST 1300 has just under 45,000

My Nighthawks are long since sold, I think the 84 650 was right around 38k.  My current Ninja is at 25,000 miles and I'm the first owner.  My very new Versys has zero miles and is still at the dealership waiting for accessories.

Nice, gus; Being an original NH owner would definitely have its perks!

Mine just got to 45000 miles yesterday.  Had 6000 on it when I brought it.  It's a 2001 had it since 2004.  Got 2nd bike in 2012, still liking the Nighthawk.

I've put about 2000 more miles on the wing and the mighty ST 1300 has just over 55,000 miles on it now

Also a '96 I bought in 2006 from the second owner with 15K on the Odo.
I just bounced over 29K, so I'm nearly responsible for half the bike's mileage...

It's good to read about nighthawks being ridden.  One of my good riding buddies put well over 120K on a late model 750.  And when I tell you he rode the PISS out of that bike, believe it.

I bought another late model nighthawk for parting out for $100.00.  The owner bought a gold wing and let it sit.  95K miles.  Sill had hone marks on the cylinder walls.  I made almost $3,000.00 on the parts for that bike, sold most of them on this forum.

Honda did this one right.

My 93 that I purchased about 3 weeks ago is just about to roll over to 20500.  I've put around 400 on her since I picked it up.  She's my first, and I'm loving every minute.
