Nighthawk --> Cafe Racer Inspiration
« on: April 08, 2017, 08:05:23 PM »
Nighthawks (and CB's in general) have become increasingly popular among the Cafe Racers, Scramblers, Bobbers and Customs crowd.
As this is the Nighthawk board I thought it would be fun to start a post that has some nice examples of Nighthawk and CB Cafe Racers (and Scramblers, Bobbers, Customs, etc...).

I plan on adding to this every now and again.

Please post pictures of your favorite CB's!

The bike in the "Visual Weight/Foundation/Secondary Angles" pics is not a CB.  That's a CX.  Completely different engine/transmission format.

I'm not really into Pinterest, but my wife loves it. I tried, but simply can't, lol. That said, I will say Pinterest does seem to have a TON of Cafe Racer examples, in seemingly any model you like. Enjoy!

Best, black '92 CB750 NH Cafe Racer conversion I've seen to date, in my humble opinion:

I think most difficult part is finding a gas tank to replace the ugly cruiser stock gas tank.Rest is intuitive

Though I've gone in completely the opposite direction with my CB, adding rather than subtracting, I do also like the Cafe's, conceptually. In fact, they always remind me of the blue, Honda GL145 I used to own, while living abroad a year in New Zealand. The bike's year escapes me, as do pictures...at the moment...but she treated me well and I absolutely loved her kickstart, when it worked, lol.
