Looks GREAT!!  What year is it, and how many miles on it?  I love my 1986.  Ride safely.

It's a 1984 with 67km on it. Engine has 40km on it. Not sure exactly what happend but previous owner mentioned a chain snapped inside the engine and he was unable to turn it over with the starter (just spinning). Said he couldn't find the chain to fix it so he had a shop source and swap the engine for him. I have the original engine, driveshaft and 2 rims so I have lots of spare parts.

The colour scheme says it's 1985.
Sounds like the starter chain snapped.  Surprised that they replaced the whole engine instead of just replacing that, but lucky you to get all those extra parts!

As for the starter chain, the mechanic said he couldn't source one in canada? Do they still make it ornyounhave tomfimd a dealer with new old stock? Is this a common occourance where it snaps?

The original chain is almost unobtainable, but the chain from the later model 750 engine fits perfectly.

Thanks that's very valuable info. And probably my why the mechanic couldn't find it (maybe didn't know too much about interchangeable parts on the 750)

The RWB 700s is on my wishlist. I like the red paint job too. Enjoy!

Yeah, I should have picked up that it's a respray from noticing the Honda logo on the upswept air guide on the front fender -- that's supposed to be above the headlight.
The turn signals and mirrors are replacements too.
