Wow, sorry to hear that! Are you new to riding, or just new to the NH family? There's no shame here - I myself have gone down twice and was luckier than you both times - was not hurt badly and there was no no major damage to my bike. I was very scared to get back on. But after about 25K more miles of riding over about 5 years, I can tell you that I have become a much more cautious rider. They were painful lessons, but ones I have thought about a lot and learned from.

not really "new" to riding I rode while in the Marines got out in 05 so its been a few years. I am new to this bike though only had it a week before i dropped it. I put a few hundred miles on it that weekend getting the feel of it. Honestly no idea what happened might have been dirt/gravel om the spot it went down. It happened right near a house and the homeowner saw it and he said it just fell over. lol    After reading on here im going to check my tires and see how old they are, I had no idea you could do that.  May add a sidecar to ease my familys minds plus I always wanted one.

If you can't recall what happened, there's no use for anyone else to speculate either. Happy to hear you didn't consider giving up riding altogether.

If you do get a sidecar, you must post a picture with a dog sitting in it. It's The Forum Rules. LOL

Maybe a refresher course or advance safety course? Way to ease back in the saddle?

I like corners too much to ever consider a sidecar.

I've got a Ural. Flying passengers is a helluva lot of fun.

I like corners too much to ever consider a sidecar.
