New To the Group

Purchased 1984 Nighthawk off Craigslist for $300.  Engine spun but did not start.  Stripped down to frame now and about to rebuild.  First bike rebuild.

Now THAT is a tear-down.


I have a spare seat pan if you need one.  Also a set of carbs if yours are beyond salvaging.
And you might want to take this opportunity to replace the bearings in the steering head while you have it all apart.  And Galfer stainless brake/clutch lines.  Also do the coil relay mod.  And run some new wiring up to the headshell for aux power/better headlight power.
