If you're switching to LED turn signals, you have to change your flasher unit as well.  The old thermal unit doesn't work with the low resistance of LEDs.
For the fronts, you need to hook them up with diodes so that you retain the running lights.  There are some good instructions at http://www.hondashadow.net/forum/72-technical-discussion/116607-3-wire-oem-2-led-how-keep-your-running-light-blinker-combo.html
Note that you don't have to worry about the diodes for the dashboard light if you have separate lights for left and right -- the diode is only needed if there is a single light there.

The old thermal unit doesn't work with the low resistance of LEDs.

Technically speaking, it's because of the low current caused by the high impedance of LEDs (as compared to incandescent bulbs of equal brightness).

Cleaned the engine and frame with new Shout method. Worked really well, but not perfect. But the little bits left were easy. Then cleans adjusted and lubed the chain, and drained the snot tube. Conditioned the leather seat. Couldn't find anything else the old girl needed

How do you like the Corbin seat? There was one for sale in Ohio, but the add disappeared on C/L. He advertised it as being BIG in the saddle and for a bigger person.  I messaged him and he never got back with me, I'm not a bigger guy, just wanted the seat..oh well

I started out with the  LEDs that you see in the first pic. They are from Bikemaster as well. They looked good, but I just couldn't get them right. So I opted for the ones pictured. They are much better installing. It's basicly plug and play, as well as the mirrors.  My rear signals will be here today and I will take some after pics.

Scored a brand spanking new OEM center stand. My son inherits the swing arm stand. Easy install, except the spring is a lil tricky. Predator motor swap coming in a couple weeks for him. He'll be stoked!

Put it back in the garage because it wouldn't run. Hopped on the Super Tenere instead.

I can identify with that. I just ride mine all the time, but I never wash it. It looks terrible. I'd wash it more often, but the place I park it at work that is very safe makes it very dirty from wind born dust and dirt.

Congratulations my friend!  A pleasure and you will not be disappointed  ridn2

Since Precious herself was also there, it was her pleasure to escort you and your NC (a respected fellow Honda and stable mate) out for a proper send off out on some back roads before you turned for home.

Accidentally over torqued handlebar bolts (last night), and snapped'em, while adjusting handlebar position, to accommodate for new Corbin seating position.

Added my National Cycle F-16 windshield today. I decided on this one instead of the Emgo Mark VII.

I inherited my 700sc. My best friend left it to me when he passed away. It's an absolute minter( wish I could show you pictures if her.)  several times a year, Staffordshire bikers collect for charity and thousands of us block the streets collecting stuff( pet food/ toys/ easter eggs...that sort of stuff. We have two runs left till winter breaks in..  I am stripping her for rebuild. In his effects I found many things..today I found a box with tracker system, alarm, immobiliser, other stuff he bought and didn't get chance to fit. It's been nearly two years since I was left all this stuff and only now can go through it. My missus is helping with the wiring even though she hates bikes. I am going tomorrow for a meet to raise for pets in need( 21St century Britain and we have food banks....it's a disgrace to Western world) I know there will be couple thousand bikes but will never sell/swap my nighthawk for any of them. Have fun all and keep riding

So, my YELLOW '96 is named.... Amber... and Amber wasn't feeling too pretty after riding home in the mud when we were surprised by a monsoon storm..
It's strange how when the Weather Service says there is a 10% chance, it rains, and with an 80% chance, it doesn't.. But I digress...

So Amber was a muddy mess and I gave her a bath and did a WD40 clean on her x-ring chain followed up with her favorite silicone lube.
Protects from corrosion and doesn't attract dirt like chain wax...  After 700 miles the tension adjustment was still perfect...

I also discovered that the boot that protects the wires going into the left side rotor cover was a bit loose, so I added a bit of waterproof grease to seal the rubber connector in case rain decides to intrude.

Years ago I bought a cleanable stock size Uni Air Filter, and it doesn't take too many trips down my dirt road to clog, so I did Amber a favor and cleaned that for her as well.  She does need to breathe after all..

Now she's "lookin' good and feelin' good"...
nice1

Keep the Rubber on the Bottom!

Today my ($11.99 eBay) pair of 10mm black anodized CNC mirror riser extender adapters arrived, which was a quick, 10-15min. install. Pretty stoked to soon test'em out!
