cancelling the blinker after turn
« on: June 30, 2017, 04:37:08 PM »
I'm an idiot.

For years I have been manually pushing the turn signal back to the center after completing a turn.
Yesterday someone told me that all I had to do was press the turn signal down in the center, and it cancels.

hmmm...that makes sense. lol!

*I'm posting my stupidity in case someone else can benefit from it.

Don't feel bad, it took me two years to find out the gas cap closes and locks when pressed down. Did ya know about that one?

Don't worry, every one of us does something humbling, daily...whether we'd admit it or not.

BTW: I do recall seeing something on FB sometime ago about a new product that can convert 'any' motorcycle/motorbike into one with auto canceling turn signals...for anyone who simply forgets to cancel'em.

I also saw some sort of wireless LED helmet add-on, to implement turn signals and/or a brake light, onto 'any' helmet, I believe, for higher vis...

While we're on the subject of turn signals/indicator lights.
Every day is a gift.
