Any suggestions for textile overpants?

I like the Fistgear TPG pants due to the features and especially the CE armor (hip area also) - though the $225 price tag is a bit of a hindrance.  Is there anything i should look at that is similar to TPG but "cost less"?

Thanks.

How about the same pants in black and yellow for $160?

I personally crash tested these in a 20mph over the bars body slam into 4-grit belt sander gravel and slide to a stop and it didn't even damage the pants..or me.

Seriously though: Look at payment for crash gear in terms of being a one time payment health insurance policy that's valid until you tear it up in a crash..assuming the gear gets destroyed and isn't reusable. Trust me; when you're sliding along the ground to a stop then pick yourself up afterward totally unharmed from a crush your skull, rip your skin completely off crash, you are not thinking in terms of money during or afterward.

I recently purchased these http://www.newenough.com/protective_apparel/convertible_textile_mesh_jackets_and_pants/joe_rocket/alter_ego_textile_mesh_motorcycle_overpants.html and I really like them. They were on sale for $168 too.
