Received my order from newenough.com yesterday.  Here's my report after a day of riding:

http://www.newenough.com/closeouts/leather_suits_jackets_and_pants/scorpion/all_in_leather_motorcycle_jacket.html

This jacket is 100% awesome!  It feels like it was tailored just for me.  With the Thinsulate linear it is extremely warm.  One thing I really like is that it comes down far enough in the back that there isn't a gap like some jackets.  The construction appears to be excellent.  If I had to find something to complain about it would be that it only has one inside pocket instead of two like my previous jacket but that is hardly a complaint.

I'm very happy with these overpants.  I would say to order big if your between sizes as I ordered my (new) size and they are a little snug at the waist.  The adjustable knee pads are awesome!  They stay right where they should be.  The attention to detail in the construction is amazing.  I've not tested them but I really believe these pant will be 100% waterproof.  I have no complaints.

I love the look of these gloves!  They fit really well too and are very comfortable on the bike.  My fingers got a little cold during my inaugural run last night (I was zipping along at a good clip).  I think they are about as warm as you could get and still maintain good feel on the controls (which they do).  All in all I'm quite pleased with the gloves and would recommend them.  I had hoped the glove liners would make things warmer but read on...

They feel wonderful however they will be going back.  The Velcro on the new gloves will rip them to shreds before I even get them on.  If you have Velcro on your gloves don't even bother.

Well, this was is just FAIL.  The opening for your eyes is too small.  Basically I can't see out with both eyes and got fuzz in my eye.  It's going back.

Hey Martian - I was looking at those same gloves also.  I'm a little concerned that your hands got chilled - what was the outside temperature during your ride?  How fast were you riding?   Was it stop  & go, or sustained freeway?

Outside temp was low to mid 40's.  My hands weren't freezing but they weren't toasty warm either.  I think the big problem was I was wearing them for a while inside and my hands got all sweaty before I went out on my ride.

The ride itself was about 1 hour with my (gloved) hands 100% exposed to the wind.  A good bit of the ride was on the 4 lane and let's just say it was "spirited".  It also didn't help that my neck was exposed which didn't help my warmth factor any.

Thanks for the temp info - I'm going to have to head back to the bike shop to try on some different gloves.   The Scarab in XXL is a bit tight on me, so I was planning on ordering a XXXL.  I'd like to try on a Tourmaster Polar-Tex - since the largest is a XXL, I need to make sure there is enough room in it.
