99,999.9 miles
« on: November 15, 2017, 12:53:53 PM »

It took me 17 years. Just passed 100,000 miles today during a pleasant back country ride.
In addition to the usual wear and tear items, here are some other items that required attention:
42,000 Steering head bearings replaced
78,000 Upper cam chain tensioner replaced
82,000 Tachometer replaced
92,000 Starter replaced

And, yes, it still runs excellent.

Honda should bring back the NH and use your bike as the poster boy/girl

Congrats.  I hope to hit that milestone in 2018 or '19.  Your NH still looks great.

Awesome! Looks like the key to longevity of these bikes is to keep riding them. Bike looks absolutely beautiful.
Which tires have you had good luck with if you don't mind me asking?

Bridgestone BTO 45's, using a 140/80 on the rear, it's a little taller than stock. I average about 8K on the rear, a little more on the front. I was using Dunlops before switching over. I noticed no difference in ride or handling.
