In an effort to avoid some holiday eating I decide to spend my lunch hour riding. My camera is absolutely craptastic but you can get an idea of the views. Lunch is way to short. Looking south to Santa Catalina Island Southwest the entrance to the Port of Los Angeles Southeast Trumps Golf Course

Burgi - that Bonnie is real nice. It's a shame your pipes are already blue. i feel your pain - they are already starting the holiday sweets crap in the office. So far I'm resisting, but I wish they wouldn't rub it in my face. Thanks for sharing your ride.

Combination of my bad camera (I don't think there is any line in those shots that doesn't look fuzzy. ), and marine layer which is caused by the temp. difference between the air and ocean. Off towards the port there is some brown. Between all the ships and trucks it is plenty polluted.

It is designed to be that way so I have accepted it. They were bluing in the first 20 miles. To make up for my fun yesterday I am going to make myself clean my chain tonight. Blah! chain maintenance!

At least it is daylight for your lunch hour where you can go to nice places. Lots of beaches around here to take pictures of but they don't show up too good at midnight, thats my lunch hour. There are good things about working the night shift. No bosses wandering around getting in the way. Not near as busy, no traffic in and out. No construction, just emergency maintanance. It's a lot cooler around here in the summer, at night. Rusty
