I've been eating for 4 days straight, and frankly too much of a good thing isn't too good..  Weather Sunday was too nice to sit inside.  Called some riding buddies - everyone had something planned, so I'm going solo this time.  I'm determined to see more of my own countryside through the helmet visor.  Geared up and took off.

The wind blew me to Jefferson Island and Rip Van Winkle gardens.  This paradise is a whopping 15 miles from my house.  I've never been there before.  It's beautiful.

Here's a shot of one of the houses on the lake.  I thought something looked odd near our State flag.

Peacocks are not indigenous to our area.

Sat on this bench by the lake and thought about the meaning of life.  No revelations, but the stress is much less on the NH.

Beautiful flowers everywhere.

Walked around through a grove of moss draped oak trees.  They are just majestic blowing in the wind.

There's no telling what I mind find beyond that gate.

As usual, took the long way home, the road way less traveled.  Stopped on this bridge to look at the water.  We call this a Coulee, a French word that I think translates literally as "to flow", but also means a drainage zone (i.e. a ditch).  There were blue point crabs in the water - I took a couple of pictures, but the light would not cooperate.  I'm telling you, if I had to live off this land, I'd eat like a king.

What a great place to blow the carbon out.   burnout

Continued home stopping here and there.  Crossed paths with a lot of bikers along the way.  One day, when I'm riding no where in particular, I'm going to U-turn past the right biker, and follow them.  Who knows where he/she will lead me.

Anyway, that's all for now.  Hope ya'll don't mind the reports.  I found out my kids have been sharing these on facebook and the family gets a kick out them (Joe - do your homework!).  Cheers.

That or a slight variation is a good title for a RTW book.
