Well, my gf of 9 weeks is not comfortable with motorcycles in the least but knows im an avid rider and love to ride.  So knowing there is snow on the ground and i am having withdrawals, she bought me a stable mate that i can "ride" any time of year.  so here it is... my new ride.

Got a good charge on it last night and about 10:45 took it into the hallway of her apt. to try it out...after it curved left all of the sudden and slammed into her neighbors door..we called it quits..high tailed it into her apt and it was put up for the evening...LOL

should be a fun ride..once i can figure out how to control it.

I had a gas powered one of those years ago. The trick is slow steering motions. If you steer it too quick it doesnt have time for the weight to shift when the steering angle changes.

Get that bad boy into an open, empty parking lot.  Apartment hallways are not recommended.

I don't see any "training wheels"........does it just fall over on its side when it stops?

Is there a third wheel on the right side of the bike, or does the toy have some sort of Yaw sensor?

the bike centers itself. it has something in it and most of the weight is like a real bike would be, where the motor is and very low to the ground.  I havnt had it going for more then a few seconds tho because no area to run it it. so soon enough i will let you know how she runs...

If its like the one I had theres only the 2 wheels. You can make a lil stand but I always just held it and hit the gas or gave it a "bowling" type assist as I gave it gas. The triple tree actually free floats. Kinda like it does when you let go of the handlebars on a real bike. The steering control is done by changing the angle of the triple from side to side. That's why you have to slow steer, at least until you get the hang of it. If you steer too quick it doesn't give the bike time to shift weight to that side and will end up going straight with the rear tilted one way and the front leaning the other. The gas one I had was fairly easy to control and would run about 25 mph. When I would pull the muffler off it would run quite a bit faster but very hard to control because the acceleration was so outrageous!

i could try that, i was doing some looking and the only bad thing about the steering that i see is the triple tree just jumps left or right, it doesnt go slow.

Yeah, I'd actually have to see one of these in action to understand how it works. The whole concept kinda baffles me...
