A fun bike to ride, light weight, nice to flick around in the turns, decent power for a 750 but probably dated in design.
I picked it up last July and it had 538 original miles on it.  I still have it.

538 miles!  You got a new bike for a used price.  Who cares about styling?

11doh Already commented on older Kanatuna.
I have to strongly disagree with the lightweight part unless you're comparing with older or larger bikes with no sporting pretensions whatsoever.
This generation is more visually distinctive, and that does lead to a dated look.  Again, like some Nighthawks it's engineering that was so good to start with that little revision was needed and they just kept stamping them out for years.  Keeps them reliable and low-priced.
I wasn't a fan last time I sat on one, but would probably appreciate the bike's qualities more nowadays.

The Katana was always a bike I would walk pass and never give a second thought.  One day a motivated sales person kept encouraging me to just sit on one.  I have to admit I liked the ergos on it but by that time I had already made up my mind on a Nighthawk 650sc or 700sc or a Yamaha Seca.
