Hap,

Not sure who you went through but it you went with these folks the offer it polished or anodized black. I went anodized for 2 reasons. 1-to blend in, 2-in time the polished will corrode and I don't like that look. So here is the little protectors as well.  http://www.superbrace.com/proddetail.asp?prod=5180

Thanx. I did a search last night a found them. Same place as you suggested, that was where I bought mine. Like their sales pitch in that they (shields) " save you from blowing fork seals". They look cool, but not worth the money in my opinion. I'm more of a function up-grader than flash if you know what I mean. And the way I take care of this bike, well, it'll be a while before the brace degrades. I just wish the temps would raise a bit so as I can take that lil pig for a ride. But we all have the calender on our side now for better weather. Ride safe - have fun

Cool, well I don't like flashy guns either so the black brace was a good thing for me.. I road a good Eighty miles today in our spring weather. I hope you get some handle bar time in soon..

I might have to make a set that combo's as a place to mount my turn signals since they are broken and zip tied in place
