Hey Dog! Have you had enough time/miles to form an opinion on your new front tire? It kinda gives it a 'tougher' look.

Wosmo_ I've got about 1,000 miles on the new front and I can say it's much better than I thought it would be.  Took a few rides b4 I leaned into curves like I did on Avon RR's, but now I feel that I'm leaning as well as I did b4.  Will be interesting to see how long it lasts.

I like the tires on the front what are they, they remind me of trail wings but beefier.

Hawkens-It's a Kenda K 761.  Cheap tire but so far is performing well.  Kenda says it's more a street tire than dirt.

I have the exact tire on my 96 nighthawk750 and for the price it is awesome. A friend of mine who also rides said the tire would be rough or vibrate a lot. Haven't had any problems and had it at 99 mph yesterday. Also have a 150 70 17 Michelin anakee on the rear

Skatehawk with those tires you are ready for some dirt road riding.  In the early days of NHF we had a member who set up his NH like a dual sport bike so he could venture down any road whether dirt or pavement.

Are those bmx grinder pegs as sliders/footrests? Awesome idea.

They are bmx pegs jeckler.  Like to rest one leg at a time on longer rides and they do the job.

Hog dog. I definitely would be ready for dirt road riding if the rear was newer. The michelin has a good bit of groove in it but is a couple years old. But as for the kenda ,absolutely no problems with dirt road. I like that idea of being able to do both.
