I am looking up two hydrolic tappets for my 700 to replace two that are less than desired, and at honda in Austin they are $50 a piece, so I figured I'd see if any of ya'll had a pair, or knew where to get them, also... I'm trying to look them up on the microfishe but are they labeled something different? anyway, rebuild went amazing considering... turns out I had a scorched crankshaft because of a blown #2 cylinder bearing, a piston rod, a bent engine mounting rod (holds the cylinders attached to the block) and two blown tappets. everything else went great once we got rebuilding, but I can tell you LOCK-TIGHT EVERYTHING, TORQUE PRECISELY, AN EXTRA SET OF HANDS ARE A MUST, TEST THINGS THAT SEEM LIKE THEIR WORKING, DIESEL AND KEROSENE CLEAN EVERYTHING, RAZOR BLADES REMOVE CARBON BUILD UP, COMPLETE GASKET SETS ARE NOT NEARLY COMPLETE!
Thanks for any advise and ride safe. see you this summer.

Only alternator chain is on bike... I have a Crankshaft that needs to be milled in the second cylinder rod slot/ an old windscreen that is scratched but not totaled/ I'm also removing the mud flap of a liscense plate holder.
Cash?

I located an alternator chain today. I'll send you a PM with details about the tappets.
