A couple of months ago, I won a used Corbin seat on an ebay auction. 50 bucks plus shipping. Seller said it just needed a good cleaning and polish. Yeah, right. I knew the vinyl was toasted even before I got it! But I also figured the "bones" of the seat were good. And they were. Foam and all that was good. It felt comfortable despite the gnarly vinyl.

Well, earlier this week I finally took the seat to a local upholstery shop to get an estimate. 85 bucks, the guy said. Give us 2 days to do it. 85 bucks??? Heck yeah!!! So here is my custom Corbin -- total investment, about $175 all in...

Yes, the bike is dirty. I've been riding it!!!   ricky

Looks good.  Have you done any long days in the saddle with the Corbin?

I've got a Corbin, but yours looks like it comes up the tank more... whish mine did.  -  and the white piping is kinda groovy, esp if it's reflective.

I was wondering if those seats are worth it. Since I've not ridden any other bike in decades, I figured this is what it is. But since browsing around, I see some options out there, with price tags that makes one think? Keep us posted on the posterior comfort.

It's actually gray piping. Even better as a match for the bike.

The best thing is that my butt stays stable and comfortable where it belongs, towards the back of the saddle area. I don't ride forward. And my back seems to be much happier, too!

That seems like a pretty great deal on what is essentially a new Corbin.
