Hello All, and thanks for the comments on the Bike.Took it back out Sunday, rode about 60 miles, and like the fairing.  It does take the wind pressure off my chest at highway speeds, which is what I was looking for, along with a nice looking fairing.  Maybe I'll stay a little dryer in the rain also.

The exhaust mod wasn't hard at all, although one pipe was a pain to get out.It helped too having a drill press to help hold things as drilling a hole in a pipe is hot easy.  The grips were on the bike when I found it, so I don't know the brand, but they are nice.  They are a softer rubber than stock, and provide much more grip, so you don't need as much hand pressure.  I also have a throttle lock, center stand, and K&N air filter, which were on it when I found it.  It also has clear turn signal lenses, which nobody picked up on.  I'm not sure I like them, but no need to replace them.Clear bulbs in the front, and amber in the rear.  One other thing this bike has a factory swing arm with two mounting positions for the shocks.  You can move the shocks to the rear to lower the bike.  I had heard of this, but this is the only bike I've ever seen with it.  This is my second Nighthawk, as I bought a new one in 1991 and sold it in 1998.  Long story but I always missed it.  After the wife got her motorcycle license, the search was on for another nighthawk.  Took about a year to find this one.  She ain't perfect, but she looks good and rides great, or as great as a nighthawk rides.  next on the list are progressive springs one day.

I made the dealer give me a new air filter when I bought the bike.  I hadn't checked it, and assured them while it probably looked clean, the paper was old and deteriorated.  After I got the bike home, I found a K&N filter soaked in motor oil.  Got her cleaned and re-oiled properly.  If anybody needs a new paper air filter, I'll make you a good deal.

Thanks again for all the comments
