Hello from Nova Scotia, Canada I just bought my first bike, a 1982 Nighthawk CB650SC. After taking my friends 83 for a spin, I just had to get one. This photo was taken 5 minutes after the bike arrived at my house. Close to 40,000 miles and still running strong. Expect more posts and updated pics as the project begins.........I'm planning on keeping it close to original. There's just something about the 82 650 I've always loved, and its not the cam chain tensioner. If anyone knows where I can find a decal kit that closely matches the original, lemme know! Keep up the great work on the site!

It actually did clean up pretty nice. Now to tackle that dead battery. I'm hoping its just the battery, the seat bolts haven't been out any time recently

Did you use 'Never Dull' on the chrome? That stuff is the cats meow on chrome.

Yeah, I bought some of that stuff and it works great. Then I obliterated all the chrome on my bike . I don't think I'll ever use up the rest of the can, all I use it for now are the exhaust tips on my cars :).

You can also use it on normal painted (clear coat) items as a 'rubbing compound'...to take all the old wax and gunk off. It works pretty good for that job. I've used it on bike frames and swing arms to clean them up.
