Maybe a little late but in case anyone is interested in higher end gear Olympia has discontinued their Airglide II line (now it is III) and there are good deals to be found.
This stuff is much loved by the Sport touring set and quality is excellent. Jacket and pants are Cordura with mesh panels. The armor is all CE rated and there are various adjustments to make it fit properly. Biggest thing I notice is the comfort, jacket feels light and flexible. The liner is quilted and dare I say down right cozy? The liner is also made to look like a windbreaker so you could remove the motorcycle jacket and wear the liner as a jacket when you get to your destination.
Pants have adjustments for knee armor and an "easy" hem, meaning they left room below the zippers at the bottom of the legs for pants to be hemmed.
Since this is a mesh/textile blend airflow is not as great as a pure mesh jacket but so far I have ridden comfortably in the low 80's in it and with the liner will certainly be more comfortable than my mesh with nothing but a windbreaker liner in the colder temps. Also the pockets are small on the woman's jackets but from the pictures I don't think the men's would have the same problem?
I think jackets ran around $230-250 new and I got one off from EBay from a BMW dealer for only $89.
