Ole' blue sure does look purrty!! I don't think I have ever seen a front fairing like the one on the donor bike. I bet you could get some good cash for that unless you have plans to put it on Ole' blue

very nice!
Looks like a police bike in that picture.
How is that fairing working for you?
I'm working on it!

Can you give us some more info/pics of the handguards? BTW your '84 looks amazing, you even have the faux velocity covers. Nice.

Thanks guys for the compliments cheers3
The bike has over 46,000 miles on her and splits riding time with my SV650

Skramer --The guards are the V-Strom guards, I picked up the anodized blue end caps at the local bike shop in the "grab bin" for a couple bucks

Poxy -- The windscreen is 10 inches taller than stock( I still have the stock screen) It keeps the wind blast off my chest and the air is deflected over the top of my helmet , I`m inside the "bubble" of clean air . I like it alot on them chilly morning rides to work

Usbigred-- The bags are Saddleman sport panniers they are 6" wide and will expand to 8" , they hold enough stuff for day trips. Any thing longer and they would be too small. I use the tail bag for clothes and such when going for an overnighter

rr91-- The seat is a corbin . I had the local upholstery shop recontour the foam to get the shape I was after. There is also a padded sissy bar that slides into a slot in the rear of the seat . Usually I don`t have it in place . It gets in the way when kicking my leg over the seat .
Good day Gents

I'd take that kerker off your donor bike if you didn't want to use it for anything :naughty:
