Don't stay up all night lookin at it in the garage!!! Big One caused me to loose a bit of sleep when I brought her home...sometimes I still sneak out to take a peek at her. That's how you know you got the bike that was meant for you!!!

After only one mile in the seat, I wouldn't be able to offer a good impression. Every discussion that I have read indicates that the handling is much crisper than a Goldwing. The bike is also 200 pounds lighter than a GL1800, so that should give you some indication.
I am sure it won't handle like my Hawks, but it's not all that important to me. This one is for going long distances comfortably.

Dave, I have an 84 goldwing and it handles great. I bet that in the twisties I can keep up with anybody on the turns. I'am sure that bike handles great.

Surely by now there has been time for a ride report?

with a cassette adapter and a mp3 player you could turn that useless tape deck into something worth having on those long trips .

My thoughts exactly. I now have the best adapter I could find and am waiting for the helmet sets to attach.
I did spend a number of hours on it getting it all spiffy and as soon as the rain stops, I will snap some photos to post here.
What is really crazy is jumping off and on the Nighthawk. Makes the Hawk feel like I could flick it around with reckless abandon.....but I don't. Both are very enjoyable in their own right. This could never completely replace the Hawks....
