My old 450 was good to me.  She was my first ride.  But I needed something a little bigger.  The new girl is a Yamaha Virago 700.

Looks nice. I had an '84 (I think) that I bought used in '85 (I think). Your bike has the cast wheels? Mine had spoke wheels and I have never seen another one with spoked wheels.......could never figure that out.

Yeah you're right.  I haven't seen many spoked wheel Viragos.  But I haven't seen the black cast wheels around.  I always see the gold wheels.

Here are some more pics.

It definitely is not comfy.  You get numb bum after about 40 miles of riding.  I'm saving up for a mustang seat.

How does the bike fit?  How big/tall are you?

I am 5'10", 190 lbs.  I sat on an 85-ish Virago years back and felt like my knees were going to hit the handlebars.

Looks really nice though, enough chrome to put an eye out.  :)

Yeah its actually pretty low.  I'm 5'7 and I couldn't put my feet flat on the ground with the Nighthawk but I can definitely flat foot it on the Virago.  So to me it's perfect.
